"Sprocket Rockets" Art Opening @ Superb Bicycle

Date: Friday, December 4, 2009
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: Superb Bicycle 842 Beacon St Boston, MA 02125

Superb Bicycle is pleased to show the wonderful cycling inspired Art Work of Simon Peplow, opening Friday December 4th from 6-8pm. The show is curated by Meighan O'Toole (myloveforyou) and includes prints as well as original work made specifically for Superb.

Simon Peplow is a Visual Tinkerer and general page perker upper, based in the South West of England, once home to the Fez adorning comic Tommy Cooper. Simon is co-founder of the Outcrowd Collective, and one of the curators behind The Joyful Bewilderment Exhibition. He favours solitude within a delicately constructed vortex, spending the majority of his days situated inside the corpus callosum region of his noggin, formulating new ideas and interestingly befuddled outcomes. Characters are fundamental to his work, described by some as whimsical, cute and sinister in equal measures. He just wishes they were his friends. Simon is also an esteemed waffler, hat sporter and an avid sprocket rocketeer".
