Six Pack @ Space 242 (march 26-april23)

I'll be part of a six person show at Space 242 from this Friday March 26 through April 23.

My show is called:

Mixtape: Song Lyrics Reinterpreted
9 different pieces based on lyrics from songs.

I have no musical talent whatsoever,... yet have always wanted to do a cover song, so I took some lyrics from some of my favorite songs and did my spin on them.

Also featured will be some new work by 5 other amazing artists

SPACE 242, Boston’s Low Brow Destination, proudly announces its March exhibitions: SIX PACK! – including mini solo exhibitions by six area artists: Jennifer Lewis, George Pfromm II, Dave MacMahon, Joshua Baptista, Patt Kelley, and Christopher Lyles. The exhibition, on view March 26 through April 23 includes paintings and illustrations by Boston-area artists. The opening reception, Friday, March 26 runs from 6-8pm, is free and open to the public with RSVP at . An artist talk will be held Friday, April 23 from 7-8pm. Gallery hours are Friday evenings 6:30-8pm.

Hero Cowboys - Keith MacLelland's New Solo Exhibition at the Hynes Convention Center

Award winning Boston based artist, Keith MacLelland, is proud to announce his upcoming solo exhibition at The South Rotunda Gallery in the Hynes Convention Center.  Inspired by 1950's heroic Hollywood cowboys and today's technology immersed culture, MacLelland is known for his eco-conscious colorful contemporary mixed media cowboy collages.  From empty cracker boxes to junk mail, he sees overlooked everyday discards as exciting materials to incorporate into his pieces. MacLelland keeps up with the latest fashion trends and adds decorative elements such as rhinestones, glitter, and silver studs.  This show is a must see, and it is open to the general public.
