Hello all Artists/Crafters/Artisans/Artist-Crafters:
This year, the Assembly Square area of Somerville will be developed into a major shopping, entertainment, and transportation hub, as Federal Realty creates “Assembly Row,” featuring a collection of new restaurants, a condominium complex, a brand new AMC movie theater, and even a dedicated MBTA T-stop. This Summer, Aigner/Prensky Marketing, at the behest of Federal Realty, will host a series of outdoor craft shows to kick off the introduction of Assembly Row to the public.
Aigner/Prensky Marketing is investing heavily in the promotion of this event, including features on WBZ, NPR, and Boston.com, Boston Magazine, and a massive billboard on I-93 in Somerville, which 70,000 travelers will view daily. The May 18th show will feature ample parking for both customers and exhibitors, a variety of food trucks, a workshop led by Etsy vendors on making your Etsy shop thrive, and a diverse group of vendors. ALL goods must be handmade (no re-sale, mass-produced). The deadline to apply is April 30th, 2013!!!
