Meet Boston Artists: Ian & Adahn West

We were delightfully surprised and excited to see imaginative, colorful, eye catching paintings displayed on Newbury Street.  Ian West and Adahn West are twin brothers that create a wide assortment of collaborative paintings.  As we walked over to their arrangement, they kindly welcomed us and were happy to talk to us about their work.  Ian and Adahn attended MassArt for a few years, learned techniques, developed a signature style, and decided they were ready to take flight with their work.  Since then, they have been consistently pumping out original fresh one of a kind paintings that are appealing to people of all ages.  Their mediums include acrylic paint, oil paint, ink, spray paint, and mixed media.  What we liked the most about the West brothers is they take something old like a CD or record and turn it into a visually stunning piece of artwork.  Feast your eyes on the images below and make sure to visit them to see new pieces.

Ian and Adahn have work available on the platform outside of the Hynes Convention Center T Stop on Newbury Street, next to the old JP Licks location.
