Kristilyn will be present at the gallery for Jamaica Plain Open Studios weekend, September 21st & 22nd.
Fish Scales and Feather Tales is a series of works blending classic fairy tales with personal narrative in a series of colorful ink and gouache illustrations. Using imagery from these works as a foil, I seek to explore moments of my own history involving personal growth and transformation, unrequited love, and disconnection from family.
