'The Legend of Cool "Disco" Dan' Screening At The Museum of Fine Arts Boston

We were invited to the screening of 'The Legend of Cool "Disco" Dan' at the MFA last Thursday.  The film led us on a culture journey, with the introduction of Cool "Disco" Dan himself, the development of graffiti, Go-Go music followers, dangerous crews, and how they all intertwined and evolved in Washington, D.C.  The film was narrated by Henry Rollins, known as the vocalist of Washington D.C.'s popular hardcore punk band Black Flag.  We enjoyed the film and hope more artists, graffiti enthusiast, and D.C. lovers have the opportunity to see it.

The creators, Roger Gastman, Joseph Pattisall and Caleb Neelon,
doing a Q&A after the screening. We wished that Cool "Disco" Dan was there.
