National Poster Retrospecticus RETURNS TO BOSTON
National tour brings over 300 gig-posters across the US
Boston, MA—A massive collection of hand-printed gig-posters is coming
home to Boston! The National Poster Retrospecticus showcases over 100 of
the most prominent poster designers in the country. The show includes heavy
hitters like Aaron Draplin, Daniel Danger and Aesthetic Apparatus. Posters
for bands like Modest Mouse, Phish, Wilco and hundreds of others will be on
display for the public, free of charge.
“We’ve loaded up the van with a backstock of thousands of posters. We’ve
been making overnight drives to each city and setting up the shows for onenight-
only.” says John Boilard, producer of the tour. “We hope to make this another
season of adventure, hard work and fun. Highlights of Summer include
a show at The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and our home turf here
at Boston University. The Boston show is special for a number or reasons. It
will potentially serve as one of our last events in the North East for a few years
as we set our sights West.” After months of meticulous planning and curation
this national tour hits the road on August 1st and visits four cities.

around the world. The National Poster Retrospecticus is produced and
