Just in time for the holidays, a selection of New England’s most talented artisans and crafters will bring the best of their handmade jewelry, fiber arts, ceramics, soaps, candles and body oils, sculpture, original illustrations, photography and paintings, chocolates and confections to the Arsenal Project (formerly the Arsenal Mall) for a weekend-long shopping extravaganza. With gift-wrapping on-site with proceeds going to charity and live musical performances from local musicians and choirs, this event is not to be missed!
Vendors at this event maintain online shops on the handmade-focused global marketplace, Etsy.com. They also reside in the Greater Boston area, and meet monthly with a goal to strengthen the local artist/maker/seller community!

Holly Fair has been a Harvard Square tradition for over 60 years and the Center has been the place to shop for top quality, hand-crafted artwork and gifts for the holiday season. This year's fair—Saturday, December 13 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday, December 14 from noon to 5pm—features more than 70 vendors spread out in both buildings at 42 & 56 Brattle. Proceeds will go to support the artists and to the CCAE scholarship fund.
"We have a tremendous variety of beautiful and affordable things this year," commented Executive Director Susan Hartnett. "Shoppers can find handmade jewelry, bags, sweaters, scarves, natural beauty items, soaps, ceramics, stained glass, ornaments, photographs, cards, prints, paintings, food items and much more—ranging in price from $2 to $200."
New vendors this year include artist Maeve Mueller, a participant in this year's Community Supported Art (CSArt) program and Cheryl Robbins-Dooley of Blackflower Chocolate, and Harvard Square favorite, Just Crust will keep everyone warm dishing up the neighborhood’s favorite pizza in the kitchen at 56 Brattle Street.
"All of our vendors have wonderful stories to share about their products," says Hartnett. "That's what makes shopping at Holly Fair so much fun. It's a great place to find one-of-a-kind holiday gifts while supporting local artisans and raising money to help CCAE keep our classes affordable."
CCAE gift certificates and shares of the award-winning CSArt program will also be available for purchase during the event. This event is open to all ages. Admission is free.
