WPI is seeking submissions for a Juried Art Exhibition held in conjunction with the fortieth annual meeting of the International Merleau-Ponty Circle, an interdisciplinary conference on the theme “The Twenty-first Century Body: Thinking Merleau-Ponty In and Out of Time.” They intend an exhibition that collectively depicts what it is to be a body and embodied at the dawn of the twenty-first century while also holding together a diversity of mediums, subject-matters, levels of expertise, artistic technologies, degrees of realism and abstraction, temporalities, and perspectives. Such juxtapositions and multiplicities are encouraged by Merleau-Ponty’s work and speak to the contours and contradictions of life in our own …


LEGENDARY MUSIC PRODUCER/ENGINEER, TERRY MANNING, TO HOLD WORLD PREMIERE PHOTO EXHIBIT AT BOSTON CYBERARTS GALLERY, AUGUST 21-30, 2015 (New York, New York) American record producer, engineer, songwriter and photographer, Terry Manning, is proud to announce his World Premiere Photo Exhibit that will take place in Boston in late August. This event marks the first time that Manning uncovers his photographic work to the general public. Alongside his highly esteemed music career spanning over several decades, Manning fostered his passion for photography since his teens and shot still lifes as well as legendary political and music figures in various parts of the world. His subjects include Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Lenny Kravitz, Chuck Berry, Terry Reid and Marvin Gaye among many others.
