Bite: Food as Art - Closing Reception and Food Drive at Nave Gallery

Photo credit: Welcome to a Decadent World, Mara Trachtenberg

Like art, food is a visual, sensory and social experience. Flavors and textures, aromas and taste are all elements that can be explored through artwork. Culture, memories and health are just some themes that can be viewed through the lens of food. Bite is an exploration of art made with food, art about food and/or food about art.

Boston Underground Film Festival Presents: The Editor and Moped Knights - #BUFF17's Opening Night

THE EDITOR
Boston Underground Film Festival (BUFF) has never disguised their love for Astron-6. Whether you’ve caught their many shorts that they’ve screened over the years or their featurette Manborg back in 2012, you’re probably familiar with their unique parody/homage hybrids. With The Editor, founding Astron-6 members Adam Brooks and Matthew Kennedy mine the plentiful well of ‘70s Eurotrash giallo films, and like always, hit that sweet spot between respect and derision.

WITH CO-WRITER/DIRECTOR ADAM BROOKS IN PERSON!

Also, check out the local premiere of the latest from Mike Pecci & Tony Fernandez MOPED KNIGHTS preceding the feature film!
