The Aspects of Me Artistic Showcase features inspiring poetry readings, talented dancers, fashion designers, live music, visual artists, unique performance art, gorgeous body painting, interesting art/fashion demos and art talks! The Body Painter will design any image(s) you want painted on you - the prices vary depending on the size and complexity of the piece. There will be no Nudity, 2 Piece Bathing Suits are acceptable.

Dj Supahstar
A female DJ from Cambridge, MA. She started DJ'n 2011 in her freshman year of college and submerged into the mixtape game making her one of Massachusetts biggest mixtape DJs, with her platform she exposes music coming from the underground scene which got her spinning major events in the city and connecting with local artists.

Farrah E.
Boston-based artist, producer, writer, actress, host and model. She is engaging within every aspect of creating through those avenues.

Mualam M.
A Maker. The Creator of WOOD US. Finding what you would to do for a living and do for the fun of it is priceless. He has found it in wood art and he lets it speak loudly. He intends to motivate inspire others to do the same by feeling free to embellish on this.

PARTICIPANT CREATIVES:

Nathalia Jmag
A Colombian-American fashion designer and blogger. She started the Nathalia label in 2015, is for people who are different and are not afraid to show it; the artists, the trendsetters and fashion rebels. JMag is very passionate about animals and the environment, which drives her to only use vegan furs/leathers and seek alternatives to animal skins and fibers in her designing. She draws inspiration from the people around her, nature, historical costume, outer space, aliens, music, the future and pop culture. She was part of the cast of Project Runway season 15 making it to episode 10 of the Emmy nominated television reality show.

Feda Eid
A Lebanese American photographer, studied photography at New England School of Photography. Her work explores the self expression of heritage, tradition, culture and identity. She is guided and inspired by her own story as a child of Lebanese immigrants who fled civil war and found opportunity in America. She believes in the telling of personal narratives to help broaden our perspectives and ultimately help us see the universal emotions that connect us all.

Brian Rauch
An unconditional passion for music throughout his life. He have been writing songs with the past two years. He gains inspiration for his songs from everything around him and looks for new creative ways to express the millions of thoughts that run through his mind. He believe others will enjoy his music as much as he does. Brain has an EP called Snow Day.

Marcela Cruz
An RnB/Pop singer, who has that’s been singing since the age of 9. In 2014, She announced herself as a solo recording artist and has kept herself busy with local performances as well as traveling to other states across the U.S to share her music. In fall of 2016, she released her first project, an EP called “Here We Go Again.” It blends the topic of love and war through RnB and Pop. She loves and respects so many of the big voices she grew up with in the late 90’s/early 2000’s and am impressed with a lot of artists that are coming up now. Although she has interest in other genres, at the end of the day my love for rnb stays at her core and she like to motivate and inspire as many lives that welcome her to do so.

Kyle Davis
A Singer/Songwriter that is one of those rarities. A natural storyteller with an inevitable creative talent for writing and singing, His life has revolved around the creation of music and live performance, since the the age of 8. His outside-the-box musical blueprint blends an energy and sound that molds the essence of dark pop with R&B. His lyrics are personal, honest, and real. His current single “All Falls Down” is a tribute to his unique blend of taking personal experiences, forming them into lyrics and applying them to personally-created music.

Erica femino
A Boston based freelance artist who has done murals for The House of Blues, Middle East Night Club, Amazon and The East Coast Grill to name a few. She studied at MassArt and graduated in 2011. She also owns FarOutFotography, a photo studio that specializes in headshots, model portfolios, music videos and events.

Roscoe Lamontagne
A fine artist specializing in oil painting art installations, his paintings are permanently showcased at MIT. He has been body painting at events since 2005 working from New York City to Miami. He runs an art studio full time in South Boston called roscoe studio,which focuses on art installations, body painting events, Video Production, and 3D design.

King J
A versatile, multifaceted artist who's music immediately evokes a feeling of elation. An expert lyricist constantly looking for new ways to push the boundaries of rap, King J stays true to his southwest Atlanta roots while also integrating his experience of being a student of music in Boston.

Margarita Krylova,
A Boston visual Artist. In 2013 received a BFA in Fine Art from SMFA. Her energy is on art-making and teaching art/painting to kids and adults. Her interest is experimenting with anything and everything, constantly on the search for new aesthetics and subject matter. Her work speaks on her love/hate relationship toward reality; at once inspired and bored by the everyday, on a mission to convey and to also transcend life in her art.

Eli Portman
Focuses on drawing using pen and ink but also works with oil painting and woodblock printmaking. Portman has hung his work in galleries, shops and cafes throughout Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Newton, Boston, Dedham, Chelsea and Quincy. Portman also does private commissions, and illustrated children's book in late 2014. He currently operates a dual storefront/studio at the Out of The Blue Too Gallery.

Danté Miller
An ever-expanding artist. As an artist, he branched into mediums such as painting, poetry, music (in the form of guitars). He started drawing in a cartoonish/anime based style, but currently he sketches in pen and painting with high details more realistic elements. He believes that we are truly defined by our creative mindset and expression, not the actual medium we use. With that said there are no reasons to limit oneself to what we are comfortable with. It is only through those uncomfortable moments that we truly grow beyond limitation.

MerkThose
Boston-based a graffiti-style artist who works in both traditional and digital dimensions. His use of striking imagery and bold color depict urban life on canvas, on screen and on the walls of his hometown to highlight the attitude of the city. His work provides a no-holds-barred look into youth culture in the United States. Taking his work to new levels every year with an increasing use of digital resources, MerkThose is on the cutting edge of the new hybrid of street and technological art.

Maya Meen
An Visual Artist, born in Thailand in 1988, and she holds a B.A. in innovative media design. She has had a life-long interest in illustration and nature, and has melded these interests through drawing. She creates works from nature, her surroundings and other things in life and combines them into pieces that make the connection between reality and fantasy.

Kelly Araujo
Self taught Artist from Boston. Spray paint Artist & Acrylic painter. In love with anything astronomy lover of the Moon.

Stephanie Machore
Launched Abstract Accessories to make art more accessible in everyday life by blending it into everyday clothing and objects. Stephanie is a painter First. She believes creating art is a meditative process for me because there is a certain freedom that I experience in making things. When she paint, she paint in a manner that is non-representational because she enjoys the mystery of creating unidentifiable landscapes. There are many places in the soul that have been untapped, unexplored and even forgotten. Through her paintings and other creations she seek to re-invent these intangible places bringing forth beauty, style and imagination"

Destiny J Polk
A Boston born performance artist and art activist. She has been dancing professionally since the age of 5 and sharing her poetry with audiences since age 12. She is concerned about speaking truth to a country that attempts to rewrite its own history while having actively tried to suppress African and Native American history and culture. She is also deeply passionate about advocating for marginalized groups of people, especially low-income communities of color, women of color and young self identifying black girls.

James Bonner
Never thought of himself as the performing type but he was has an interest in writing and music at young age. We he opened to performing, on of his first performances was giving an introduction speech for former Mayor Thomas M. Menino. After that he was committed to learning how to put who he was into my writing pieces and perform them. Whether it was a haiku, song or full length poem, He knew he found his passion. He currently a apart of the Books of Hope Boston and has published poems in their book entitled WE ARE FOR THE ARTS.

Punky The Singer, birthed Miya Nesha Perkins, demanded her way into the music scene with her 2012 youtube pop hit "Play With My heart" produced by hit producer and Boi-1da signee, Syk Sense (Drake "Know Yourself", Bryson Tiller "Let'em know", Tinshae "Cold Sweat") with over 100,000 plays. She went on to work as a songwriter to better her craft, while building her own career as an artist and entrepreneur, with subtle co-signs from Wiz Khalifa and Li'l Wayne. Fast forward to 2017, Punky is currently performing across the east coast and working on her highly anticipated debut album "O.N.E", which features her rising soundcloud r&b hit, "Consistency" (Prod by SODTP).

Eudese Willins
She wanted to be a ballerina a singer a model a tennis player. She wanted to be everything from the eyes of a child when she grow up, and now that she grew as far as eighth grade year would let me she is a poet, writer, a licensed Zumba instructor , an upcoming cosmetologist and a nanny, She grew up to be everything she can possibly be. She currently apart of the Books of Hope Boston and has published poems in their book entitled : .WE ARE FOR THE ARTS.

Dramatix
Directed and choreographed by Noa Barankin, DrumatiX brings innovative, cutting-edge and energetic percussion and tap dance to the stage, using traditional as well as unusual elements in the dances. Noa is a musician, dancer, teacher and award winning choreographer in the New England area.


Karim
A singer-songwriter, visual artist, and designer. Creating is more than a hobby or a passion. It's a way of life. And when something that you yearn for eats at you everyday, then you should pursue it. You are meant to do or become it. He wants to inspire; be able to touch or move someone. Even if only a mere single soul He is currently working on his first EP.

Nathalie Victoria.
She is a natural born athlete and addicted to anything that keeps her physically active. She has the most fun in photo shoots when I could express my sporty side, but not at all shy to show off my sexy, feminine counterpart. She is a recipe for fun, beauty, spontaneity, adventure. She is excited to bring what she has to offer to this Live Arts Event.
