Emerson College to Unveil a New, Large-scale Projection Mapping Art Installation on the College’s Historic Little Building

The Emerson College: Uncommon Project will launch the College’s efforts to animate Boylston Street; showcase to include works of local artists and Emerson faculty and students On Friday, December 1, at 7:30 pm, Emerson College will unveil the Emerson College: Uncommon Project, a series of visual and media projected art installations that will illuminate the 13-story façade of the College’s historic Little Building.   The Uncommon Project will launch Emerson’s efforts to animate the Boylston Street corridor as well as strengthen the College’s sense of place and identity by bringing to life the streetscape along Boylston Street and across from the Boston Common to inspire, embrace, and celebrate Boston’s emerging diversity. This large-scale projection mapping showcase will combine both moving and static work of local artists as well as Emerson faculty and students – through a newly created studio class Projections on a Large Scale. Viewable on the ground from the Boston Common and the sur…

5th Annual ‘Salem Holiday Market’

Two days of New England’s best Makers at the 5h Annual ‘Salem Holiday Market’ Hosted by New England Open Markets at Salem Old Town Hall, December 16th & 17th, 2017 11am – 6pm

The Salem Holiday Market is an annual 2-day indie craft show in the heart of downtown historic Salem MA, featuring over 90 of the best local and regional designers and artists around New England. The Salem Holiday Market will be held at the beautifully historic Old Town Hall with two floors of handmade and artisan goods. From vintage homegoods to hand-stitched apparel and more, this year’s Salem Holiday Market is filled amazingly talented creators.

3rd Annual ‘South Boston Holiday Market’

Celebrating the 3rd Annual ‘South Boston Holiday Market’ Hosted by New England Open Markets and the Innovation and Design Building, December 9, 2017 11am – 6pm
